Overview

About the project

LotLedger is a web application for land development teams who need to know the status of every lot, every dollar and every milestone across their subdivisions.

Computer CoPilot designed and built LotLedger as a secure, signed-in platform: a single source of truth for lots, builders, financing and documents, with dashboards that surface what needs attention and an AI assistant built into the workflow.

The challenge

What needed to change

Land development runs on hundreds of lots, each moving through acquisition, financing, permits, construction, reimbursements and recording — often across several subdivisions, phases and builders at once.

When that lives in spreadsheets and email, it's hard to see which lots are stuck, what information is missing and where the money stands.

The solution

What we built

LotLedger gives the team one secure web app for the whole portfolio. A dashboard summarizes every subdivision, phase and lot by status, and flags stuck lots and missing information before they become problems.

Lots, builders, customers, takedowns and documents are connected, tasks and alerts keep work moving, and a built-in AI assistant helps the team find answers in the data.

How it connects

From first click to finished job

How the pieces we built work together day to day.

  1. Step 1

    Lot added

Lots are created individually or uploaded in bulk, organized by subdivision and phase.

  2. Step 2

    Financing and permits

Loans, permits and lot releases are tracked against each lot.

  3. Step 3

    Construction and takedowns

Builder takedowns and construction progress move lots through the pipeline.

  4. Step 4

    Reimbursed and recorded

Reimbursements, recordings and closings complete the lot's history.
